Summary

Manuscript is used for contemplation, study, and recitation and is likely part of a group of five upaniṣads known as the Bindu upaniṣads, which form part of a medieval set of 108 Yoga upaniṣads, in as much as both are influenced by Saṃkhya-yoga philosophy. Manuscript contains mantras (words or phrases of power) intended to convey knowledge of the Vedas through recitation and sound (nāda).
