Summary

Circular diagram written in Italy in 1490 aligning the years 1490-1504 with the indictio, a fifteen-year cycle used by medieval notaries to date documents until the end of the 16th century. A faded paragraph above the diagram and a clearer one below, written in humanist cursive script, explain its use and conclude with a note that the indictio is particularly familiar among notaries. The title of the diagram and the year 1490 in roman numerals are written in the the bars of a cross in the center of the diagram.
