Manuscript is used for contemplation and study and is a Hindu philosophical treatise that discusses the human capacity for discrimination and argues that it is the crown or crest jewel (cūḍāmaṇi) associated with the process of attaining liberation and release (mokṣa) from the cycle of life and death (saṃsāra), a kind of Hindu soteriology. The work is written from the perspective of the Advaita (non-dualism) school of philosophy.
