Summary

This manuscript is an early fourteenth-century French copy of the third edition of Petrus de Riga's Aurora, a commentary on the Bible in verse. The format of the volume is tall and thin. Running titles indicate the book of the Bible at the top of each page. Simple initials in red and blue and rubrication in red appear throughout the text. Leaves may be missing at the end. A 1915 letter from Wilfrid Voynich to John Frederick Lewis about the manuscript is pasted to one of the flyleaves at the end of the volume.
