Summary

This manuscript is a copy dated 1493 of an eleventh-century collection of the Greek sermons of Philagathos of Cerami, also known as Theophanes Cerameus. It is written in Greek cursive script. It has decorative initials and some additional ornamentation in faded red or brown ink at the beginning of sermons or prayers, and occasional marginal corrections and notes. Three fifteenth-century Venetian miniatures on parchment are pasted into the manuscript, in one case over a page of text.
