Heavy beveled wooden boards covered with brown blind-stamped leather, probably in the sixteenth century

Single column twenty-six to twenty-nine lines; lined in ink (substantially darker on some pages); frame ruled; prickings visible on some pages

Decoration

Red rubrics; one-line initials within the text throughout; two-line initials at the beginning of sections, all red for most of the manuscript, but alternating with a faded yellow or orange until fol. 35v (end of quire 4)
