 321 leaves : 200-202 x 115 (140-145 x 70) mm. bound to 202 x 125 mm Paper, 321; [1-321], modern foliation in pencil, upper left recto. Contemporary foliation in Hindu-Arabic numerals in ink (50-80) visible on upper right verso. Written in 15-18 long lines. Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, by multiple hands; beginning and end (f. 1-40, 310-321) of manuscript written on replacement leaves by a later hand in a narrower version of the script.

Item is undated, but based on the paper, probably copied in Persia in the late 14th century.

Ownership stamps, probably 19th century, in Persian: a rectangle in purple ink with the name Muṣṭafá Shāh ʻAlāʼī and the title Qānūn added by hand (f. 1r), and a ring in red ink with the name Manūchihr Nukhastīn Āṣaf Qājār (f. 1r, 109r, 228r, 278r, 321r).
