<note>Text breaks are signified by open space of varying width; The function of this codex is unclear, and although it is well written, it is likely to be ephemeral. The copyist has recorded the first three verses of each weekly Torah portion, and the last three (which serve as the Maftir readings); The copying was interrupted in the middle of the word [ע[ליו XXVIII 13) which is in midline in the upper third of fol. 2v. The fragment, apparently the last of this attempt, includes the excerpts of Ḥaye Śarah, starting at XXIII 2 ותמת; The beginning of Toldot is signified by a decorated פרש' sign in the margin and the numeral ג'; the beginning of va-yetse is signified only by open spaces.</note>
