Authorities are quoted through initials and the abbreviations are explained in a table following the fihrist and preceding the opening of the book. There are marginal notes and comments. Completed in the month of Shawwal in the year 1147 by Muṣṭafá ibn Sulaymān al-Qayṣarī al-Jarīm (f. 177r).
