The punctus flexus punctuation and the inclusion of St. Hugh of Lincoln, the second-most prominent saint (behind Bruno) in the Carthusian Order, suggest that the manuscript belonged to a Carthusian monastery. The mentions of St. Jerome and St. Katherine of Siena suggest the manuscript may have been tied to the Hieronymites of Fiesole. Includes a hymn in square notation on 4-line staves in red ink (f. 22r-25r).
