University of Pennsylvania Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts Ms. Coll. 390 Item 1083 9963321193503681 http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/900094036 Manuscript is used for contemplation and study and is a treatise on Hindu philosophy whose title is translated as Discourse on the Great utterance; reflection on well known phrases from the Upaniṣads as presented in Mādhava's Pañcadaśī, written from the perspective of the Advaita (non-dualism) Vedānta school of philosophy; work contains part of an extensive commentary called the Tātparyabodhinī by Rāmakṛṣṇa running parallel, above and below, the main root text. Colophon of root text (f. 3r) names Śaṅkarācārya as the author of the text, but the incipit (f. 1v) and colophon (f. 3r) of the commentary name Vidyaraṇya (Mādhava) as the author of the root text.
