Though constructed as a poetic hymn, the work discusses philosophical idea's from Śaṅkara's Advaita Vedanta school of Indian philosophy (darśan). Opens with a reference to Śiva/Śaktī union, suggesting the possible śaktization of the text and Tantric influence.
