Naskh in black ink; fully vocalized. Polychrome (red, blue, pink, orange, black, green, yellow, white) and gold illuminated headpiece (f. 2v). Textblock border-rules in red, gold, black, blue; page opening frame-ruled in black. Rubrications in red with gold and blue highlights. Gold roundels with red and blue dots mark verse endings. Reddish brown leather, blind stamped with central mandorla and six pendants, four on the vertical and two on the horizontal axis, lead ruled and tooled frame. Marbled paper pastedowns.

No date of copy, though the donation note is dated Rajab 1284 (October-November 1867) (f. 2r). Possibly copied in Iran.
