 341 leaves: 165 x 106 (120 x 65) mm, bound to 165 x 106 mm Modern foliation added in pencil, upper left recto; catchwords every verso, lower left. 13 long lines. Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Fragmentary polychrome (green, blue, red, black, pink) and gold illuminated dual-page opening (f. 1v-2r). Fragmentary gold vegetal marginal fill (f. 2v-3r); four complete floral marginal fill (f. 58v-59r, 78v-79r, 111v-112r, 275v-276). Text is written entirely on cloudbands with gold fill between the lines. Textblock is border ruled in gold and black. Page openings are ruled with a thin, gold frame. Sū̄rah titles appear in white ink on a gold background cartouche enclosed in a rectangle with light blue fill around the ends. Gold roundels mark verse endings. Gold circular and floral motif marginal medallions appear throughout to mark rukūʻ and text divisions. Readings marked in red.
