 307 leaves : 136 x 88 (88 x 52) mm, bound to 137 x 90 mm Modern foliation added in pencil, upper left recto; catchwords every verso, lower left. 15 long lines; border-ruled. Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Gilt and polychrome (shades of blue, yellow, red) illuminated double-page opening (f. 1v-2r). Different types of floral marginal medallions mark text divisions and sajdah. Sūrah titles in white ink on a gold background with red tinged floral decorations at either end. Verse ends marked by gold roundels lined in black with orange centers outlined with six blue and orange dots. Textblock border-ruled in double gold, blue, red. Rubrications in red. Readings in red. Colophon is written on cloudbands above floral fill (f. 303v). Bound in red leather with flap. Embossed and gilded paper onlays of central mandorla, two pendants on the vertical axis, and corner pieces; the area around the onlays is also gilded. Gold tooled and ruled frame. Coordinating onlays and gilding on flap; gold tooled design of x-shapes and rules on inside fore-edge hinge. Bright pink paper doublure.

Copy is dated 1233 AH and copied by Muḥammad al-Wahbī (f. 303v).
