sphere, similar to Briquet 14039, localized to Saumur 1589. ii, 191, iii leaves ; 275 x 205 (180 x 95) mm Foliation in red ink (4-79; 90-111) with added foliation in black ink (112-203), upper left verso. 18 long lines; ruled with a misṭarah. Written in an andalusi in brown ink; pointed, partially vocalized. Illuminated headpiece and marginal medallion (f. 4v); marginal manicules throughout; zoomorphic and anthropomorphic drawings in the margins along with some abstract drawings used to fill lines or to decorate margins throughout; rubrications in red and heavier brown.
