This manuscript contains two sermons by Tennent. The first sermon, on the subject of those whose faith is weak, begins by citing Matthew 8:26 and Mark 4:40. The second sermon, on those whose faith is strong, begins by citing Matthew 15:28 and Romans 4:20. From dates noted in the manuscript, it looks like Tennent wrote these sermons in 1747, then delivered one or both of them again in 1748, 1752, and 1759.
