Summary

Fragment of a document copy of the Davidic lineage (reading backward chronologically), beginning with Hezekiah, King of Judah, moving back until Seth (third son of Adam and Eve), likely as an educational document (perhaps for memorization); loss on most of the recto (with damage at the bottom, possibly a prayer; Arabic palimpsest visible through the lines at recto bottom). The fragment appears to have been torn from a codex, with the original gutter at recto left (the current recto was originally the verso). Written in (at least) nine long lines; paragraph break following end of text (recto); written in an eastern square script, possibly 11th century.
