Summary

Early fragment (originally a bifolium) of Maimonides' Dalālat al-ḥāʼirīn (known as the Guide to the perplexed) in Judeo-Arabic, attributed in the NLI catalog to the scribe Shelomoh ben Shemuʼel Ha-levi (son of Saʻadiah ha-Dayan, likely of Fostat; other fragments of Dalālat al-ḥāʼirīn, also possibly written by Shelomoh ben Shemuʼel Ha-levi, have survived in the Genizah). Text loss at corners and upper center of the manuscript; extant text from Part II, Chapters 29-30, and partially 32. Written in an eastern cursive script; chapter headings in an eastern square script (above line). Written in 20 lines, with line breaks and plosive marks.
