Notes
- This is a fragment surviving from a codex of the Pentateuch. The surviving text begins with the final words in Proverbs XIX:7, לא המה, and the recto finishes with the first word for XIX:22, תאות, and the verso continues אדם חסדו וטוב רש מאיש; verso completes with first word of XX:8, מלך. Item was likely from a Karaite Pentateuch due to the vocalization and the plosive mark above each instance of the Tetragrammaton (Karaite practice was to pronounce the Tetragrammaton while reading the Bible). One instance of Qere in outer margin (recto; this manuscript spells the Ketiv as יומת, Qere is למות; Proverbs XIX:16). Possibly a Cairo Genizah fragment. Title supplied by cataloger. Written likely in Egypt, or possibly Syria or Palestine, during the 11th century.
