Summary

Printed ketubah form with manuscript ketubah text in black ink in Aramaic and Hebrew in Rabbinic semi-cursive script. Stylized, colored border frames three sections: a narrow rectangle at top with words of blessing in Aramaic in square script; a middle section with two arches filled with ketubah text and supported by three columns; and a larger rectangle at bottom with words of blessing in Hebrew in square script. Numerous layers of patriarchy listed for both groom and bride who trace their ancestry to the exiles of the Spanish Inquisition. Wedding took place on 23 Siṿan 5657 (23 June 1897), in Tangier, Morocco. Groom also signed. Some loss of text along fold lines.
