Summary

Printed, colored ketubah form with standard ketubah text in square letters and manuscript additions in black ink in Aramaic and Hebrew in Sephardic semi-cursive script. Decorative columns, flowers, fruit, wheat, leaves, wreaths and ribbons, and Star of David adorn the text. Verses from Scripture and words of blessing in Hebrew in square letters above the ketubah text. Text of ketubah on right and text of tenaʼim on left; witness signatures appear under each. Groom and bride signatures in Cyrillic under ketubah and groom in Cyrillic under tena'im. Wedding took place on 1 Elul 5684 (31 Aug. 1924), in Filibeh (Plovdiv), Bulgaria. Shemuʼel Papu also signed next to round stamp of the local Jewish community (Rabenu [?] Yiśreʼelit). Three revenue stamps at top right, one at bottom right.
