Bill and receipt for reimbursement of expenses to William Forbes and Robert McKnight, who had paid for the care and burial "of an aged Negro Man Nam'd London, late the Property of John Parrock, which were Supply'd by Virtue of an Order of Court." Directed to David Rittenhouse, treasurer; dated 8 February 1781 in Philadelphia and signed by Joseph Reed, president. The amount reimbursed was 18 pounds one shilling and ten pence.
