Lists of the noble families in Alençon and eight other parishes in the Normandy region of northwest France, arranged first alphabetically by parish and then alphabetically by surname, with notes on the status of their claim to nobility (p. 3-109), followed by an index by surname (p. 111-133) and a comparison of this copy of de Marle's work with another unknown copy of the same work (p. 1-29).
