Small copy of the Qur'ān; complete except for first folio and covers; begins with Sūrat al-Baqarah (The Cow) 1 (2:1).

21 long lines with border rules.

Decoration

Sūrah titles rubricated and framed in gold; textblock ruled in gold, black, blue; page openings framed in gold and black rules; gold roundels at end of each verse; text partitions noted in red in the margins; first opening shows half of a double page illumination in gold, red, blue with text on cloudbands (f. 1r).

Script

Written in naskh using black ink.
