Decoration

Illustrated with three engraved plates: a frontispiece depicting 10 philosophers, Plato, Thomas [Aquinas], Aristotle, Pythagoras, Seneca, Epicurus, Socrates, Diogenes, Porphyrus, Erasmus, the signature on this plate is difficult to read, "Chez...a la Ville d'Anders"; engraved title page with architectural cartouche [left blank], signed Rabel, avec priuilege du Roy; and a framed allegorical female figure, "La Logique," plate unsigned. The plate of "La Logique" has an almost identical match in Ms. Codex 883.

Script

Written in a cursive script by a single hand.
