Title page is missing but an earlier (19th-century?) dealer's description (in Italian and French, translated by Zacour-Hirsch), tipped in between two preliminary leaves, provides the following information: "Poesie e prose spirituali, lettere ecc., written in the villa Quiete near Florence by Nicolò di Bar. Guidi, confessor of the Ancille della Quiete."
