Summary
Description of the Holy Land, by Philipus [Brusserius] de Civitadei (f. 1r-11v). Also contains Historia Hierosolimitana by Marcus de Venetiis (f. 11v-122v) and most of the Gesta Fridericus I imperatoris of Otto of Freising (f. 123r-231r; lacks the end of Book III and all of Book IV).

The author of this work is also known as Philippus Brusserius. Title of the second work is also given as Historia Hiersolimitana in the colophon on f. 122v. Title of third work given on f. 126v as Cronica.

15th-century Austrian or southern German dark brown calf over wooden boards, blind-stamped with occasional rosettes in a diamond matrix. Clasp missing. Later rebacked (19th century?). Hinges cracked, especially upper hinge; upper cover and first quire pulling loose. Leather of cover is deteriorating, especially in the spine.Layout

- Formerly owned by Boies Penrose II (bookplate, inside upper cover); James P. R. Lyell (bookplate, inside upper cover); and the Bundesdenkmalamt, Wien (stamp, inside lower cover).
- Appears in Bernard Quaritch's cat. 699 (1952), no. 115; sold by Quaritch in 1952.
