Summary
Legal and administrative proceedings of Monterubbiano (f. 1r-68v), dating to the period when Ser Battista di Ser Cicco of Fermo held the office of Podestà of Monterubbiano (see upper cover, f. i recto, and f. 1r for several different versions of his name). Also includes an index (f. i recto).
Notes
- Ms. codex.
- Title from f. 1r.
- Title on cover: Riformanze.
- The paper contains watermarks similar to Piccard VII. vi. 417 (Carrara, 1413) and Briquet 11750 (1418).
- There is evidence of water damage. Some of the leaves show evidence of mildew damage and are very fragile.
- On file in the Library is a two-page description of the manuscript provided by the dealer H. P. Kraus, which had previously been laid into the manuscript. Also previously laid in and now on file are five sheets of transcriptions and English translations of portions of the manuscript. Four of these appear to be 20th century in date; the fifth appears older than the others but still later than the manuscript.
