Summary

Chronicle beginning with the author entering the clergy in 1501, from this personal introduction he turns at once to a general account of central Italy, with a focus on military conflicts (p. 1), with an alphabetical index titled Nota delle famiglie fiorentine (p. 197). This work is followed Impresa di Pisa by Biagio Buonaccorsi (p. 205).

Script

Written in a cursive script by a single hand, with 18th-century annotations in a second hand (p. 75). Notes in a similar hand on f. 22 and 119 of UPenn Ms. Codex 555 which says Ms. Codex 555 was owned by Cav. Ottavino Giuseppe de' Medici in 1747 "come il maggiore del Ramo il piú prossimo al Ramo Reale". Modern annotations in pencil in English.
