19th-century brown gilt morocco with gold stamping. Inscription on front cover reads: "A Lord Howden. Recuerdo de antigua y constante amistad. Madrid, abril de 1858."

Decoration

Ink drawing of a face (f. 46v).

Script

Written in a cursive script in the hand of Lope de Vega. Notes in several other hands after the end of the play, some with dates and signatures (f. 62r-64r, 65v, 66v).
