Binding

15th-century German blind stamped calf over boards (rebacked, ca. 19th century). Leather split, cracked and crumbling, especially on spine; lower cover completely detached, upper cover nearly detached.

Decoration

5-line initial in red and blue with green penwork ornamentation (f. 1r); alternating blue and red initials, with capitals stroked in red throughout.

Script

Written in a Gothic bâtarde script by several different hands.
