Contemporary parchment, with abbreviated title and "Ad usu[m] P. A. Cantone" on spine.

Decoration

Illustrated with pen and ink calligraphy on double title page (f.1v, 2r); full page floral decoration (f. 88); full page illustration of human face (f. 122r); cardinals' coats of arms (f. 2r, 128r); full page decoration on final leaf of the text (f. 151v); several decorated initials and a number of tailpieces, some in floral designs and two with a human face (f. 1v, 69r).

Script

Written in a cursive script by a single hand, probably copied from an unidentified printed work or another manuscript, for use within a religious community in Italy, with 5 leaves in a second, slightly later hand include words for hymns for vespers and some liturgical responses.
