Two philosophical works for university use, the larger one concerned with Aristotle's Organon, followed by a list of Steiner's students in 1641 and 1642 and lists of definitions and assertions.

Contemporary parchment. Back pastedown has come loose, revealing a portion of a printed leaf used for binding material that includes several biblical excerpts from the books of Job, Daniel, and Maccabees.

Decoration

Frame of title page of first work painted in orange, brown, red, and green (f. 1r); pasted-in engraving, Pons asinorum (f. 19r); title page of second work is an arrangement of interlocking circles with title information arranged around the edges of the pattern (f. 37r); several pen and ink ornamental initials and tailpieces (for example, f. 2r, 23v, 25v).

Written in a cursive script by Andreas Ignatius Spahn, student of Steiner (f. 37r, f. 201r),
