Mottled contemporary calf, gilt spine.

Decoration

Full page engravings of a female allegorical figure, "La Logique" (opposite p. 1); "Aristote" (opposite p. 31); "Platon" (opposite p. 217); and "Zenon" (opposite p. 261). All but the first have biographical captions in French and are signed "chez H. Bonnart au Coq." The plate of "La Logique" has an almost identical match in Ms. Codex 273.

Written in a cursive script by what appears to be a single hand.
