Copies of privileges, letters, and confirmations concerning the Heemrad van Rijnland, the water board in charge of canals, dikes, and sluices for the region of the Netherlands containing Amsterdam, the Hague, and Gouda. The source documents, each with an introductory paragraph, date from the 13th through the 17th centuries.
