Summary

Treatise on fortification including chapters such as "De la castrametation," "Du camp de l'artillerie," and "Précis de fortification." Four plates contain tables (after p. 48) and diagrams of a camp and camp buildings (3 plates inside back cover). The last section of the book is a collection of questions titled "Table interrogatoire et raisonnée de tous les objets à considerer..." (pp. 97-102).
