• Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with double red line. First (f. 1) and last (f. 10) are double folia, but treated as single folium by the scribe.
   
• Blue, European stock of paper with a variety of watermarks including a crest with the goddess Victory bearing a crown, spear, and shield; another watermark bearing the words "Moinier's Fine 1853."
