Section of a large work on Vedānta philosophy written in the style of a purāṇa, dealing with topics such as mokṣa (release) and other related to the nature of the Self (ātman). Manuscript is incomplete, lacking an ending, and does not indicate to which chapter of the larger text it belongs.

• Written in 12 lines per leaf.
   
• 6 leaves foliated 1-5, [6], upper left and lower right verso.
   
• Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; verse divisions in red throughout; vertical margins marked with double red line. First folio is treated with yellow turmeric powder to protect the manuscript from insect damage.
   
• A wooden board, damaged, with a beveled edge and a double line etched as a border on the surface, supports the manuscript.
