Text from the last section (uttarakāṇḍa) of the Adhyātmarāmāyaṇa, chapter five, a conversation between Rāma and his brother Lakṣmaṇa where Rāma propounds the merits of knowledge over that of action (karma); contains a Sanskrit commentary or gloss (vivṛti) by Mahīdhara, running parallel (above and below) the main Sanskrit text.

- Colophon (Commentary): iti śrī mahīdharaviracitārāmagītāviṣṭatisamāptaḥ // śrī rāmārpaṇam astu // saṃvat 1835 śake 1600 saumyanāmādve jyeṣṭhaśuddha 13 trayo dasyāṃ prāthaḥ stale bhānuvāsare te divasi samāptaḥ // cha // cha // cha // (f. 15v).
