Summary

Manuscript is used primarily for private recitation and ritual directed towards the Hindu deity Śiva and includes numerous invocations of Sanskrit mantras or syllables and phrases of power. Reciting the text is meant to produce a protective barrier over the devotee that will protect him or her from harm, thus functioning as a kind of prayer amulet or talisman. Manuscript lacks beginning.
