Summary

Manuscript used for contemplation and study and is a treatise giving an etymological reading of Vedic chanting and considerations of logic from the perspective of the Nyāya school of Hindu philosophy.

• 32 leaves foliated 1-32, upper left and lower right verso.
   
• Dated śake 1795 (1873) (f. 32r).
   
• Mistakes blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with triple black line.
   
• Partial fine penned floral design inside of a rectangular border on front cover (f. 1r); many marginal notes are written in Gujarati script throughout the manuscript.
   
• European blue paper with watermarks of various crests, one a crest flanked by two lions above the year 1870, another a crest with Victory in its center; there are also various words and numbers and the year 1860.
