Summary

Manuscript is used for contemplation, study, meditation, and recitation and is one author's interpretation of what constitutes the essence (sāra) of Tantra, from a particularly Bengali perspective; has a focus on the goddess Kālī and the Śakta (female, divine energy) influence on Tantric tradition. Opening of text is a table of contents.

• Mistakes blacked out; some corrections and significant additions in margins; hole in center of each paper folio to mimic palm leaf. Gold flecks mixed into the paper.
