Summary
List of approximately 100 vocabulary entries in English, Diria (or Chorotega; also known as Mangue), and Chiapanec. The Diria words, although not attributed, appear to be mostly transcribed from the vocabulary listed as Chorotegan or Dirian in E. G. Squier's book Nicaragua, its people, scenery, monuments, and proposed interoceanic canal (New York: D. Appleton & Co., 1852; 2 vols.), including entries selected from and following the order of Squier's main comparative table of languages in Nicaragua (vol. 2, p. 320-323) and the numbers 1 to 4, from a smaller table (vol. 2, p. 314).
