Summary

An 1875 copy of an 1810 collection of Catholic doctrine translated into the Pokonchi language. Contents include texts of prayers, the act of contrition, and confession; lists of the ten commandments, sacraments, articles of faith, and sins and virtues; and a catechism. A table of contents follows the last item.

• Copied from an original obtained by the parish priest of Tactic, as described by Berendt: "Lleva la inscripcion: 'Para el uso de Bacilio Co. Año de 1810.' El cura del pueblo de Tactic me lo consiguió prestado de un Indio en el barrio de San Jacinto en el mismo pueblo" (p. vii).
