Heavily fragmented piece of papyrus, cartonnage highly evident. Three distinct patterns of cartonnage: Solid blue, red and white striped, and a diamond pattern consisting of a red background with light blue lines and orange circlets at the corners. There is writing against the fibers (untranscribed).

Text is on both sides of several fragments. Main text is in two columns: Column 1 is 17 lines written with the fibers, Column 2 is 17 lines written with the fibers. A small piece of papyrus may belong to this discourse; it is 3 lines written with the fibers. The reverse side of the fragments is untranscribed, approximately 17 lines of text written against the fibers, not separated into columns as the main text is.

Provenance

Excavated by Grenfell and Hunt (1902) on behalf of the Egyptian Exploration Fund, and donated to the University Museum in return for its support (1909, Dr. Parrish Collection).
