Summary

Erinnerungen aus Egypten (Memories of Egypt). Leather-bound, gold-stamped album containing 84 mounted 8.5 x 6 inch photochrome prints in a set, sequencing 2101-2172 and 2179-2184, with titles printed in French or English. Printed in gold on frontispiece: "Albert Schuler." Stamped on colophon: "R. Schmid/Buchbinderei/Zurich." Several of the photographs in this album are recognizable as Bonfils. Many are embossed P.Z., known as the trademark of Photochromie Zurich, a Swiss photochrome concern. Several photochromes are from photographs (presumably by Albert Schuler) found in the Photographische Studien (Photographic Studies) album, ca. 1895.
