Summary

This is a fifteenth-century German manuscript containing Pseudo-Albertus Magnus, De mirabilis mundi with exposition and gloss (ff. 3r-62v) and Boethis, De consolatione philisophiae with exposition and gloss (ff. 63r-238v). The front flyleaf (numbered 1) is a parchment leaf containing text from an unidentified grammatical treatise, while the back flyleaf (numbered 239) is a parchment leaf containing text from an unidentified theological treatise.

Contemporary sheepskin over wooden boards, blind-tooled with stamps of fleur-de-lis, rosette, and dragon; remains of two metal clasps, rebacked; two pieces of parchment with writing pasted to upper cover; first is illegible but begins with the number 4 in 15th-century hand; the second inscribed LXXXI; gold-stamped on spine BOETII CONSOLATIO PHILOSOPHIA CUM GLOSSIS 1478.
