Summary

This manuscript is a humanistic copy of the rule of the Gesuati and additional constitutions approved at a general assembly in Florence in 1485. It belonged to the Gesuati monastery of San Giusto outside the walls of Florence. Its colophon records that it was copied by Piero di Simon Bartholi in Florence in 1510. It has a title page and two additional pages with illuminated borders and a decorated initial at the beginning of each chapter.
