Spence sale (London, 5 November 1906, n. 310) to Ellis (Cat. 112, 1906, n. 571); John Frederick Lewis, Philadelphia; given by his widow, Anne Baker Lewis, to the Free Library of Philadelphia in 1936; a manuscript note in the front reads: "This Book was the property of John Walker of Bradley at one time & I bought it of him through Geo. Rutland, R.S."
